Roccapina Sud

Natural sites | Corsica

The Cape of Roccapina is a 144 meters high rocky point, and introduces visitors to the "Lion of Roccapina", giving the striking impression of seeing a giant beast lying there for millennia! The place is full of stories and legends, and if you look close enough at the rocky formations, you will see the “rabbit”, the “turtle” and many more.

For centuries, boats were often found in difficulty and many have perished off this cape. The beach can be reached by a dirt track. The XVII century Genoese tower is listed as a Historical Monument.
