This stroll, a stone's throw away only from the city center, will take you at the heart of the exceptional site of the Sanguinaires Islands (Iles Sanguinaires).

The path, lined by the sea, will guide you through a scrubland of coast, to reach the rocky spur which shelters the Genoese tower built in 1550 by Giacomo Lombardo. A platform at the end of the peninsula allows to contemplate the fantastic panorama of the Sanguinaires Islands. Advise : doing this stroll at the end of the day offers an unforgettable sunset .


From the town centre of Ajaccio, take sea front road and follow the indications to get to the Sanguinaires Islands (Iles Sanguinaires) and go up to the end of the road where you can park your vehicle. The path starts from this parking and follow the sea.
