A mountainous region between Corte and Bastia, the Castagniccia, where the chestnut (the Breadfruit) is king, is full of character with its small villages, old houses with stone roofs, baroque churches .

The sea is not far away, which gives an attractive diversity to this region, whatever the season, especially in autumn, the season of chestnuts.
